    ADEM Technologies integrates LEDAS LGS 3D component in ADEM 8.0
    NOVOSIBIRSK, Russia, April 6, 2006 - The Russian integrated CAD/CAM/CAPP system ADEM 8.0 has been released by ADEM Technologies.

    The basis for ADEM Assembly, the new subsystem of ADEM 8.0, is the three-dimensional geometric constraint solver LGS 3D, developed by LEDAS. It has been designed to be an effective and affordable component for assembly and 3D drawing applications to combine complete functionality, competitive performance and superior intelligence in a three-dimensional engineering domain.

    CIMdata Reports PLM Market Growth Exceeds Forecasts
    ANN ARBOR, Michigan, April 6, 2006 – According to recent statistics compiled by consulting and research firm CIMdata, Inc., the worldwide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) market experienced an excellent year in 2005 and demonstrated significant growth. CIMdata research shows that the overall PLM grew 8.7% to reach $18.1 billion in 2005.

    Novosibirsk Aircraft Production Association (NAPO) starts serial production of military airplane SU-34
    Before the end of the year NAPO will construct two airplanes SU-34, which start serial production. During the next 3 years NAPO will deliver to Department of Defense 18 airplanes of this type. In future it is planned to construct 8-10 airplanes SU-34 per year.

    PLM market growing steadily; Daratech predicts disruptive technology might be around the bend
    Each year, research firm Daratech brings together customers and suppliers in the mechanical CAD/CAE/PLM space at DaratechSUMMIT and presents its official state of the industry address. The good news at this year's event, held in late February, was that PLM (product lifecycle management),which was barely acknowledged as a market segment five years ago, appears healthy and is showing signs of steady growth.

    According to Daratech figures, total estimated 2005 PLM sales were $10.49 billion, up 13% from 2004. And looking ahead, Daratech's estimated 2006 figures put PLM software sales and service at $11.95 billion, which represents a 14% increase over 2005.

    Comments on DS acquisition of MatrixOne: Positive from CIMdata, Negative from UGS
    After announcement of merger agreement between DS and MatrixOne number of comments have appeared. CIMdata, leading analytical and consulting agency, believes that this acquisition has the potential to be very good for DS and provides them with solutions that have not been effectively addressed in the DS suite.
    On the other hand, UGS criticizes Dassault acquisition of MatrixOne and says that MatrixOne has lost money and will hurt Dassault.

    Dassault Systemes to acquire MatrixOne
    Paris, France and Westford, MASS. March 2, 2006 – Dassault Systemes (DS), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, and MatrixOne, Inc., a leading provider of collaborative PLM solutions for the value chain, today jointly announced a merger agreement pursuant to which Dassault Systèmes would acquire MatrixOne for $7.25 per share in cash, representing a total transaction value of approximately $408 million.

    Agile Reports Strong Third Quarter Results
    San Jose, CA—February 23, 2006 —Agile Software Corporation (NASDAQ: AGIL), a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, today announced results for the third quarter of fiscal 2006, which ended January 31, 2006. Total revenues for the quarter were $32.8 million, compared to $30.3 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2005. License revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2006 were $13.4 million, compared to $12.5 million achieved in the third quarter of fiscal 2005.

    ANSYS Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Fluent; Broadens Capabilities as a Global Innovator of Simulation Software
    SOUTHPOINTE, Pa., Feb 16, 2006 - ANSYS (Nasdaq: ANSS), a global innovator of simulation software and technologies designed to optimize product development processes, today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Fluent, Inc., a global provider of computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulation software.

    Under the terms of the merger agreement, ANSYS will issue 6,000,000 shares of its common stock and pay approximately $300 million in net cash to acquire Fluent, subject to certain adjustments at closing. The transaction is valued at approximately $565 million based on the $44.11 per share closing price of ANSYS common stock on February 15, 2006. ANSYS will use a combination of existing cash and approximately $200 million from committed bank financing to fund the transaction.
