PTC Reports First Quarter Fiscal Year 2005 Results; Company Exceeds Revenue and EPS Targets, Accelerates Growth

NEEDHAM, Mass., Jan 19, 2005 - PTC, today reported revenue of $169.2 million for the first fiscal quarter ended January 1, 2005, up 8% from $156.8 million for the same period last year. This revenue growth was driven by year-over-year growth in license, service and maintenance revenue across all major product lines and geographies.

Innovative PLM Solutions from IBM and Dassault Systemes Help Accelerate Construction of Sagrada Familia Cathedral

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and Paris, France - December 14, 2004 - IBM and Dassault Systemes today announced that designers working on the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, started in 1882 by Antoni Gaudi, are using their Product Lifecycle Management Solutions to rapidly advance completion of the cathedral. Since the celebrated Catalan architect's death in 1926, work on the highly complex stone structure - considered one of the most mystical constructions on the globe - has been under the auspices of the Sagrada Familia Foundation. For more than a century, work has been ongoing to complete Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece interpreting the large-scale architectural models he prepared during the architect's final years.

Dassault Systemes and CAXA Form Strategic Alliance

Beijing, China and Paris, France – November 23, 2004 – CAXA, the leading domestic PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) vendor in China, and Dassault Systemes today announced a strategic alliance to create and sell "China-engineered" solutions based on Dassault Systemes' V5 PLM technology. These solutions will be developed in a joint R&D center operated by CAXA in Beijing combining CAXA’s R&D expertise and technology with Dassault Systemes' 3D PLM solutions and V5 technology components.

Autodesk Third Quarter Revenues Increase 28 Percent

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Nov. 18 - Autodesk Inc., a global software and services company today announced financial results for its third fiscal quarter ended October 31, 2004. For the third quarter, Autodesk reported net revenues of $300 million, a 28 percent increase over $234 million reported in the third quarter of the prior year.
