Dear colleagues and friends,
Isicad-2006, the Second isicad Forum "PLM+ERP: Information Environment of
Modern Enterprise" was held on 31 May - 2 June in Novosibirsk, Russia.
While preparing and holding the forum, we made accent on
- maximum attracting (Siberian) industries,
- extending the forum scope from PLM to ERP.
The forum attendees represented about 135 organizations, 85 of them belong
to users/customers, 40 - to solution providers, the others - to education,
analytical agencies, mass-media, etc. More than 300 persons attended the
forum, among them at least 200 users and about 80 - from solution
providers.
At the forum, there were presented 43 talks: 19 of them belong to
PLM/CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM, 14 - to ERP, while 10 talks were somehow discussing
both areas. Top managers of some leading Russian companies took part in the
round-table "Problems and ways of installation and integration of PLM and
ERP solutions in Russia". 12 companies demonstrated their solutions at the
isicad-2006 exhibition.
Judging by rather actively filled questionnaires, many forum attendees noted
that they
- estimate isicad-2006 as considerably progressed compared with isicad-2004 that was also had been ranked as a successful event,
- believe that the forum talks and exhibition were interesting and useful,
- consider isicad forums as regular events and would like to attend isicad-2008.
The isicad-2006 organizing committee did not stop its activity aiming to:
- publish (at web and as CDs) a set of the forum presentations,
- compose and distribute a set of videos: presentations, chronicle, and a compact film about the forum,
- issue an illustrated paper edition of "The isicad-2006 Report".
